I don't see anything about porn mentioned here but either way it is far better than the fans who wanted Clark to get together with Kara in Season 7 of 'Smallville' and were posting pictures of him blushing when he saw her in a bikini saying he was having an erection. How did those comments go? Oh. "Kara is so hot I would beep her if she were my cousin" and "Forget about Lana and Lois. Clark should hook up with Kara. Who cares if she is his cousin?" So incest was fine for many of those viewers as long as the cousin was 'hot' but a number of the same people who wrote them types of comments are against Alex and Maggie now 'cause they are lesbians.
Make Same Sex Marriages Legal In Australia 'cause we deserve to have the same rights as everybody else and shouldn't be controlled by backwards people with outdated views.

I don't mind anyone being gay on the show, just wish they'd all started that way. Alex was clearly not gay in season 1, with no indication her character was going to turn gay in season 2. It wasn't until Sassy Street Smart Lesbian Stereotype Cop showed up that Alex magically realized she was all about the ladies, and every single scene with those two just feels so forced. They have no chemistry whatsoever, and frankly it's made me roll my eyes anytime Alex is in a scene because that means the whole lesbian thing is going to come up, and frankly it's turned a formerly cool and strong character into a gibbering idiot. I'm not sure in what world that's considered progress, but certainly not in mine. Massive change for the sake of change just doesn't work, especially when it's done to appease the special interest groups, and I keep hoping writers will get.
And give Winn a GD love interest for pete's sake. His last GF turned into a witch, he's due for some lovin' too. -

It seems like most of the lesbians who make Supergirl reaction videos on Youtube are attracted to Lena Luthor. There should be a scientific study but the only takeaway I have is that lesbians love Katie McGrath. The most common reaction during episodes when Lena Luthor does not appear is "Where's Lena?"
Maybe she gives off some kind of vibe? I'm a guy so I can't say that I know what is going on or that I understand it. But it is interesting.
It does seem to me that Lena might be into Kara but I do not think Kara has even considered the possibility on her end. From that description they could have a Winn-Kara relationship where Lena is in the friend zone and pines for Kara. But the show has not made it clear or overt that Lena is into girls.
Truth be told, I don't think these fans are ruining the show. I actually enjoy watching their reactions to a certain degree. -

Katie mcgraph is ****ing hot. How can you not understand that as a straight guy?
Plus it's like you say, the way the actress acts around kara, it's like she is interested in kara. And the director and writers like to tease it with some of their writing and camera angles too. It's like the evil queen and Emma on once. They have zero intention of hooking them up but still like to tease the idea to the viewers.
That said, she does give off a lady loving vibe as well. Less so on supergirl than some other things I've seen her in. Don't think this is why so many are interested in her though. Think it's just her hotness and how she seems into kara. -

I totally get that she is hot. But there are other hot characters on Supergirl. Miss Teschmacher, for example. But the lesbians do not care or get excited about her. They do go nuts for Katie McGrath.
Evidence:
I do not think they have meetings so they can all get on the same page. -

Wow, I'm surprised you watched those videos enough to see their obsession. I couldn't stand to watch a minute.
Looking at lesbian forums and my personal opinion, I'd say it's cause of the chemistry those two have. You even notice how it looks like lena interested in kara right? It should be obvious to most people I would think. Katie's also done more tv shows than most of the supporting cast I think. She was a regular on merlin.
Also many lesbians seem to think katie is into women herself. She has zero history of dating men besides rumors of costar romances which seem to turn false. And she does have certain postures that give off a gay vibe to her. -

Lesbian porn? Really? Hyperbole much? lol. Anyway, it doesn't really bother me either way if she is a lesbian or isn't. They've kissed (very chastely) a few times. Does that bother you THAT much? If so then that is. odd. Also what agenda? Lesbians actually exist that is just life. I haven't seen the show "cater" to them either. They've had a few scenes and that is it.
Before you imply that I am one of the ones pushing for this I actually thought they'd have Kara hook up with Max Lord, which I preferred. However, the shift in story line doesn't really bother me. Kara is a secondary character who cares about who they pair her with? -

Did you just call Kara a secondary character in her own show? LOL! Maybe that's what the OP was pissed about?
I personally don't think Kara is a secondary character and I don't mind the attention the show is giving to Alex x Maggie, but it would be nice if they gave Alex a storyline beyond being gay. Can't she have a relevant storyline while also being gay? Her sexuality can't be the one defining thing about her.
I wish they'd have more Kara/Alex scenes, since they're the central relationship in the show. And if they're going to include Maggie, they should give her something to do beyond playing pool. She used to investigate cases and verbally spar with Alex - can't they do that again, but also be a couple? It was fun when they went undercover.
But seriously, if you think Kara is secondary and she's the main character, the writers are messing this up. -
