Sonja has the look of what most people would call a "pretty girl." Blonde, well scrubbed. Does the carpet match the drapes? We didn't get a good look. Good body too. She's also young enough to be my granddaughter, but I never went for her type back then.
Lenora (Maria S) is an older bird for sure, but she has the look of deep, long time experience in the ways of love. Rather like Jeanne Moreau in her prime.
She's busting out of commie land and heading for Mozambique with that big black guy.

Yes, Martin's mom is all right too. What she lacks in sexy she makes up for in soul. However, her world is too small. Through no fault of her own, she's never been out of the DDR. But it too huge courage to collect and make available those banned books.
Lenora lives in the West and knows that she serves a dying regime. This Kolibri affair has opened her eyes. You can see how hot she is by the way she smooched that African.

Maria Schrader is German Helen McCrory (if you don't happen to know who she is, watch Peaky Blinders, another very good TV-series and I'm not talking mainstream like The Wire or Breaking Bad but seriously good TV).
