in both movies, the creatures were innocent; but in Kong's case, he was truly innocent since the villains forcibly brought him from his garden of eden to the corrupt, fallen modern world.
the Dinos were created in a lab and put into the modern world. yes, they were innocent, but the mad scientists knew how lethal the Dinos were in the past and how they lethal they were in the present. They didnt stumble upon the Dinos in their Eden. * and, yes, Kong's kidnappers were fully aware of what a giant ape could do damage wise.
anyhow, "twas Beauty killed the beast." great final line from Kong. I dont see what comparable bit of dialog in Jurrasic could mirror that from Kong -

How does that make the dinosaurs less innocent?
It's not like the dinosaurs asked to be genetically engineered back into existence any more than King Kong asked to be plucked out of his natural environment.

Have you heard about Old Yeller?
Old Yeller is set in the Texas frontier and follows the bond between Travis and Old Yeller, a stray dog who becomes a loyal and protective member of the Coates family. Towards the end, Old Yeller is injured while protecting the family from a rabid wolf. Travis is faced with the heartbreaking realization that Old Yeller has contracted rabies and poses a threat to the family. In order to protect them, Travis tearfully shoots and kills Old Yeller. -

no, but sounds like a 5 year old would enjoy. people here are always speculating about my real age and i always find it hilarious af, but i can assure you that i'm really not
that
young anymore, honest.
and therefore i won't ever watch this and probably will neveer know. life is too short, sorry.
suck it. -

??? I brought it up because Bambi's mother getting shot reminds me of Old Yeller being shot. I don't think 5-year-olds would like a story about a kid having to shoot his dog.
Louise reads Old Yeller in a Bob's Burgers episode, but it might be a more recent one that you haven't seen yet. -
