- Why did Chris get out of the car, to get the maid towards the end? He was already home-free.
- How did the camera flash change the groundskeeper, for the better, at the very end? This has no explanation.

As I see it: SPOILERS
- Chris is very aware that 'Grandma' is an innocent woman whose body is being used by a crazy person, therefore his humanity and instinct is to help her.
- The groundkeeper is a young black guy being used by an old white guy. The camera flash brings him back to his real self and he wants revenge for what they've done to him. Then he kills himself before he can revert back to the crazy old white guy and kill Chris.
Remember an earlier scene where another young black guy is temporarily woken up to his situation when the camera flashes at him?

NZer is probably right about #1.
#2 The flash of the camera breaks the power of the hypnosis the guy was under. And supposedly black people have an instinctual obligation to save each other even if that means sacrificing oneself for the greater good of the entire race. Basically, the black guy martyrs himself.
