Been binge watching a lot of anime recently. This one is seriously one of the best shows (not just anime) I’ve ever watched. Makes fun of tropes that you’d find in anime like this, manages to always be fresh and inventive in the way it uses it’s Groundhog Day-like scenario, contains some of the most brutal violence I’ve seen in anime (almost feels like torture porn at parts,) has some of the best written characters in anime. Also gets really ****ing depressing at times.
I honestly thought it was great stuff through like the first fourteen episodes, but once I got through episode fifteen, I realized just how special this show is.
I live. I die. I live again.
