Fantastic movie with a wonderful Superman.

Was a huge fan of IMDb before it disappeared. Anyways this is my first post on this site and it just so happens to be fav superhero and a figure as popular as any religious icon or president worldwide.
This was a fantastic enjoyable escapist movie worthy of being called a true movie in the spirit of the venerable Chris Reeve Superman. The lead actor David Corenswet was really good and charming as Superman. We saw only a tiny part of him as Clark Kent or with his parents on Earth but all his Superman scenes stole the show. He is full of hope and dreams and he comes across very sincere and honest. He can take hits and is not a god just like how Chris Reeve too hits from kryptonians and others like Nuclear Man and was weakened and injured.
IMO he truly fit the Superman spirit very well. I felt connected and invested in him. He has a great manly deep voice and he felt very human and (in movie) gave like one of us vibe.
The suit is amazing and bright and cheerful and color filled. True to his original suit and to me that was huge.
The justice gang members were really good from Nathan Fillions excellent Green Lantern to the very cute Hawkgirl. I was floored by how pretty she was when she took off her helmet. But Mr Terrific stole the show with a good chunk of screen time.
The whole story is silly and cheese but that is how Superman stories have to be given he is literal demigod.
The one other person who stood out was Lex Luthor who was truly menacing and actually felt like an equal to Superman’s honesty and not willing to kill for no reason to actually killing innocents (that poor vendor was killed and shocked).
The flying scenes mesmerized as the music hit a crescendo.
Lois Lane, Jimmy and Perry and others to the Kents were good.
The Villainess nanite girl was actually very good.
Ultraman was actually a double role for David Corenswet and explains a key point as well
Overall this was a very good and family friendly fun movie. IMO a great summer entertainment. I would rate this a solid 8.5/10.
