Gay 4 Fugazi — 3 years ago(December 17, 2022 05:58 PM)The second he went under that ice wearing a ****ing T shirt his body would have went into some kind of shock and started to shut down, but not only did he make it out of the water, he did not even seem to be shivering, and he wore the same ****ing T shirt for the rest of the movie! it was like it never even happend.
He was in the Navy, sure, but being in the Navy does not make you Thor Fucking Odinson….dead! he should be dead.
This is how ****ing arrogant these hack directors are these days, he thought a shot of Owen going under the ice would be cool and suspenseful so much that he insulted our intelligence and bent the rules of reality to make it happen. And Colin Trevorrow got paid MILLIONS to completely rape the franchise I grew up adoring…****ing MILLIONS.

I mean, the FIRST film did it quite well, if they really did bring Dinos back the way they did in the film I would not doubt it, seems almost plausible.
Aside from Dr Malcom, the first film got the human characters spot on and that is part of why I love it.
JP did not need buff young leading men able to punch out armed security guys with one punch to be good, it had an ageing dad bod in the lead and it worked! the new Jurassic World movies devolved to appeal to the dumb as **** 18 - 30 year olds who cant sit through a movie that does not have an explosion every 12 minutes.
