Yeah, it's a little bit dark for my tastes, to the point where I can't really say that I "enjoy" watching it.

I haven't watched one episode yet. All I've done is read the plot summary. I was interested in seeing what it's all about because it reminded me of some of the wild stories Sophie tells us on filmboards. Sometimes it feels like Sophie is someone the studio planted on filmboards.
