If it's the summer and you're unemployed, the kids have all the jobs and it'll take awhile to get out of the service of the local shelter, whatever the kinks there are. If they pay your first month of rent, they might not let you go until you know you can find a job..

You need money to move or buy new furniture, unless you can sleep in a sleeping bag that long. You can try to live out of your suitcase. You need kitchenware.

I wish before Barb talked she figured all this out. She said not to furnish my apartment at once though I had $22,000, I think. I know today it's cheaper than 2023. Non-inflation.
