My mom used to make it sometimes whenever we had hotdogs left over from a BBQ. She would just chop them into tiny pieces and mix them in with the ground beef, it was more palatable that way.

The recipe instructions were to cut the hot dogs lengthwise, and once fried they curled up. I'm sure it would have been better chopped in small pieces.

TBH, I probably wouldn't have liked it with the bigger pieces of hot dog in it either. That doesn't sound very appetizing AT ALL.

I got like 90 hot dogs for like $24-$25.
I got enough buns and ketchup.
I have a microwave in the hotel, and I can eat it for emergencies.
