I lay it out on a cookie sheet and bake it in the oven on a low heat for half an hour. after that, I turn off the oven and let it sit in there for a while longer, just to get the right crispness.
Oh…. by the way, I was taught to cook bacon this way in the Army… By a Man!

Subway isn't bad for its price. It's usually less expensive than others but we have tons of great franchise sandwich choices here:
Fireside subs
Jimmy John's
Jersey Mike's
Which Wich
Schlotzsky's
And many more.
They're all a little better than Subway for a couple of bucks more.
I'm not sure you get all those franchises over there but I'm sure you have some mom and pop sammich shops that are good?

Yeah all the carbs because all the bread. I don't eat a lot of sub sandwiches but I enjoy them sometimes.
Fireside is really good.
But there's a Subway right next to me. I'll get an Italian BMT with banana peppers jalapenos and honey mustard. Freaking great.

I'm over the whole sandwich stuff anyway. We did the damn thing in NYC for several years. Before that was Subway for years
. So tired of if already. I'm searching healthier food options. There are there now. That was the best thing about my filmboards membership. -

Yeah…. better quality ingredients in the other places.
Most notably the
bread
in my opinion. My cousin works at Fireside and made me a great cold cut. It was superior to Subway in every way.
The difference in the bread is what I noticed the most. While Subway's bread is more chewy Firesides was more texturally pleasing and just….ugh better.
But for a cheap sandwich. Subway is fine. Heck I got some good coupons right now.
