More than the recommended 8 glasses or more, with uric acid build up I get careless with my water intake. If im not going anywhere, sometimes I don't have a drink until 6 or 7 hours after I wake up. Its a real bummer at times, as I get bad side effects from paracetmol if taking it constantly to manage pain relief.
I eat porridge and toast for breakfast. -

I've always felt fascinated by this question - especially if you're drinking 20 beers a day.
alcohol dehydrates you…
what's your diet like Brah?
sodium dehydrates you too - i.e. if you're eating bacon, deli meat and soy sauce -

first of all, the 8 glasses of water only per day thing is a myth, it was made up, and has no medical basis whatsoever
second of all drinks like soda, tea, and yes even coffee do count towards your total, after all they consist of 99% water
on a typical day i drink:
monster can
cup of coffee
cup pf coffee
cup of coffee
beer
beer
beer
glass of water ( for sleeping pills )
note that 7 of the 8 contain the diuretics caffeine or alcohol
and i am hydrated just fine
