What I meant was, if you want something that's going to take a while like a large cod you attract his attention and let him know so while you're queuing your fish is cooking. See?
I get cod, chips and curry sauce, occasionally Scampi or if I'm not very hungry a chip bap. I don't do meat at the chippy
pies sitting under the lights for hours or deep fried burgers are a no no!

I've been really lucky with chippies since hitting adulthood. It used to be a pain in the arse queuing during lunch break at school but I think I picked up the flow of how it works from then, check the cabinet and if there's no (Or few) of what you want put a call out straight off and it'll be ready for you come wrapping time.
I've no problem with meat and the like, I know it's filth but I'm hardly there for a salad and so can take it (You know me and Pot Noodles and the like!).
Odd thing, one of my favourite chippies got bought over by this nice Polish guy who did fish to perfection but he wouldn't do Fritters as he thought it messed up his oil.
      Lasted a year
But damn, do I love me some fritters!

The real question is : they even have anything original? Not borrowed from other nations?
Well, this is a tomb. I'll make them feel at home

          Well that depends Lara
If we are talking only North America then sweetcorn and turkey are from there
If we are talking the Americas then tomatoes, chilli, coffee, chocolate and of course potatoes are all native to Southern America and much of the world uses all of them as staples now

I excluded North from South Lara, not the other way around
