Basic Channel (a producer duo of 2 German guys) invented this style of hypnotic techno which became hugely popular. and it still is, 30 years later. their EP, Quadrant Dub, was the one that started it all:

no lol Eurodance & Euro Trance have kind of a revival these days actually bc it gets remixed in Hardstyle/Hard Dance/Hard House tracks a lot which is a huge thing in clubs here right now but i'm 2-3 generations over that myself. i cant keep up with the kids, but i still love techno, but more the classics that were huge and the hot **** 10-15 years ago.
the good old Dub, Industrial, Acid, Detroit Outsider Techno.
