I always mix it up with bipolar. I know people who I'm convinced have one or the other, but I'm not qualified to determine.
I'm surprised we're friendly because I have bad experiences with borderline and bipolar people. Like an ex best friend who got off his meds and crossed the line twice with me. Also, my ex from when I was 15 tried to kill herself when I broke up with her, and I hot traumatized by it. Went from hating myself to having someone love me way too much, and it was jarring. I hate it because I know they can't help it and I hate when mental illness of any kind is stigmatized.
I can relate on the self absorbed thing. I wouldn't call what I have narcissism, but I talk about myself a lot. I found out that's common with autism.

I wonder what it's like to open up to people about your mental illnesses. Never really get to do that. It's why I'm sad all the time.

no this is not about me lol i just found it online and i thought it was interesting enough to post it here. maybe someone here can relate to this, but i wasn't really thinking of a specific person.
oh okay i'm doing CBT right now myself, longterm. i started in February and will probably be in therapy until some time next year. it's okay. i'm not feeling any progress yet, perhaps thats y my therapist went for the longterm therapy cuz she knew it will take some time with me lol
