Maybe so. But still to call Xanax "the greatest drug of all time" is over the top. It sounds like something a high school kid would say. Even weed is better.

Me too. I quit weed and the last time I smoked it wasn't fun, it just made me paranoid. Also, I've noticed friends who continued to use just became dull and apathetic. I loved it when I was younger and I would never trade in that stoner experience. But I'm so over marijuana now. Lol.

Exactly. And the government here is pressuring doctors not to prescribe opiates for pain because of hysteria over addiction. So they give patients much more dangerous painkillers like acetaminophen or ibuprofen instead.

That’s because opiates are extremely addictive and open to abuse. Also, paracetamol in the recommended dosage isn’t dangerous.
It also goes without saying that opiates should only be considered for high levels of pain. -

I'm not downplaying the horrors of addiction. But I've read horror stories about acetaminophen and liver disease, especially when combined with alcohol.
