I had the sort that sits even in your teeth all night long. I eventually gave up on sleep around 4:30 in the morning and got up for the day. On the bright side, doing so gave me enough time to brew a fresh pot of coffee instead of having to buy a cup on the way to work, and gave me ample time to likewise have a nice breakfast of shredded wheat and sliced banana. Overall, it's been a good morning; the headache and resulting poor sleep, I suppose, were blessings in disguise.
So, do you get sinus headaches? If so, how do you get rid of them? Better yet, how do you prevent them?
Hot baths usually work wonders, due to the steam, but those are out of the question with a new tattoo.

Sorry your sleep was cut short with a sinus headache. Have you tried some sort of inhaler for them? I mean the sort of inhaler where you steep some herbs or balsam in hot water, in a bowl, throw a towel over your head, and breathe it in for a few minutes until your sinuses clear? I think it might work wonders.

I get them a lot in spring and usually just down a fistful of Advil or take more than the recommended dose of zzzquil to knock myself out if I’m trying to go to sleep.
Not exactly ideal solutions, but they work.

Ugh, allergies and sinus trouble suck so bad.
When it's especially bothersome, outside of a hot shower, I just take Benadryl and try to sleep. If it's early, I'll take a non-drowsy allergy and get my workout in. Cardio works at opening the airways surprisingly well for a short time. And every now and then I try a mouthful of hot sauce
Probably wouldn't recommend that one. It's hit and miss, anyway.
Hope you're feeling better.
