Emmy was trying to fly around thos morning in my room but I couldn't have her do that unsupervised.

I just woke up to find the pic of the amazing palatial home you got your budgies! It's super. Pretty clever of you to put it together yourself too. I've done a bit of diy construction and it can be frustrating and sweaty work!
Very satisfying when the job is done though. I hope your birds have many happy years in their new home.

TY! They're trying to get used to the size of it. I may have gotten one too large tbh. I couldn't really tell how big the cage would actually be from the photos I saw of it online.
For two small budgies it might be too large but then again these birds should get used to it. After all, they can survive out in the wild…
It took me 3 hours to put together too! I was exhausted! -

I always hate putting stuff together but when I get done I feel good and proud
I do feel kind of proud of myself. Then again, that bottom part was like hell putting together! I felt like throwing the **** out the window it had me so frustrated.
They will get used to it and love the space. You'll have some happy little budgies
