Actually this very short story is about three mice who live in a maze, and feed daily on some cheese placed in a certain spot in the maze. It's given to employees of corporations to read.
One day the cheese is removed. The first mouse puts on his running shoes, and goes looking for more cheese. The second mouse decides to wait a bit to see if the cheese is replaced. The third mouse returns home to sulk.
This illustrates the three types of people in life and
especially in business.
The first mouse represents the person who adapts well to change, and when confronted by a problem, seeks a solution.
The second mouse represents most of us. We're reluctant to accept change, but we will eventually adapt to it.
The third mouse represents people who refuse to accept change, and are thus easily defeated.
