I'm glad you showed up and posted and I hope to see you on the new IMDB2 forum. Yeah Shanahan's play calling was really bad, especially on that series from the 22 and also on the 3rd and 1 play earlier. I said it during the game and everyone bashed me, but I stand by it, Shanahan wasn't fully invested in this game and was distracted. He will crash and burn in SF just look every other coach who rode his daddy's coattails to a head coaching job. Huge choke on the Falcons, also they didn't make any defensive adjustments throughout the game leading Brady to pick their coverage apart.

I'm sorry about your mom.
One reason why I enjoyed the SeaHawks SB win was my family was going through a really rough, rough year. The super blizzards didn't help either.
My favorite aunt spent Sunday in Mass General. She ended up watching the game with her husband and son in her hospital room. She had what they called mini-strokes, which in many ways was good. They almost never catch them so early. And she should make a full recovery.
Tom Brady would probably give you hug since his own mother is fighting cancer (and looks to losing since the SB is the only game she made all season).
Switching to the game, both teams got key scores from mistakes the other team made. We had the ones you mention. You had the interception. A lot of Brady's passes in the first half were half a second off, had some connected, this would have been a very different game.
Mistakes are part of the human condition. Once in awhile they help, more often they cause trouble. How we deal with mistakes is one of the most important things for humans and football. The Pats bounced back from thier mistakes, but the Falcons just gave up. I blame the Falcoln's defense for not making key stops in the last 3rd of the game. Some of those were near do or die, some where do or die.

I hope she gets better soon. And with IMDb closing it just makes it worse too, not that that's high on your list of bummers but it doesn't help either. Tonight I checked out

for the first time, they just put in a Sports Board too and it looks quite a bit like IMDb. Check it out and see what you think. Once your mom is all better and out of the hospital that could be two things down but nothing can be done about the SB loss except time taking the sting out some. They've got a real shot next year too though right?

Thanks for the kind words guys. I especially appreciate the well wishes for my mom a lot. Also the fact no one has rubbed the painful SB loss in my face has helped a bit believe it or not.
Being shown graciousness makes the reasons for shutting down the boards even more ridiculous. Here's hoping all our favorite teams can win a championship in the near future. -

My mom's ill as well, though I had less invested in the Falcons (other than not wanting for Trump to be happy).
