Currently the only healthy QB with the Cowboys is Dak Prescott. Ouch!
I don't think Sanchez will stay with the Broncos. They are going with Siemian and are unlikely to keep a back-up that would cost them almost 5 millions in salary cap.
Do you all think we might see Sanchez playing for the Cowboys? Or Geno Smith who is in a similar situation? Or Kaepernick (probably not a good fit)?
Opinions? -

His salary is a bit high.
But I'm not so sure the Broncos cut him. If they do, they will probably pick up a veteran for the price lower than Sanchez.
I do not think Denver will go into the season with 2 guys who have a combined experience of ONE KNEEL DOWN.

From the little I have seen of Romo he looks out of shape. I hope this is his last year. J Jones did the same thing with Aikman. Jones tried to hold on too long.

That's not at all what happened with Aikman. Aikman was on only 33 or 34 when he played his last season. And the year before that he had an Ok season. Then in 2000, his last year, he had a bunch of concussions and was just horrible when he played. And that was it. No one held on to him too long. He had the one horrible, concussion riddled season with a side of back pain and that was it. No one could have predicted that a QB in his early to mid 30's would just start getting concussed and totally fall off the face of the earth.

Looks like that's the only way to go, Luigi. Cause you can't have Dak Prescott starting for you. That's just embarrassing. You're always gonna have the handful of idiots going "Well, Tom Brady" Shut up! Stop talking! Everytime some late rounder makes his first start there's always a few idiots with that old line. It's never happening again. You saw it once in your lifetime, be lucky you got that cause you ain't seeing it again. These fckin idiots and their drug inspired unrealistic optimism is just nauseating
I told a friend about a month ago that we should sign Nick Foles as insurance before KC snatched him up. He's only what, 2-3 years removed from that MVP caliber season where he had like a 15-1 TD-INT ratio? When you're that young and have been that good that recently, it's never a bad idea to give a guy like that a shot.
I just hope they don't start getting cute and trading for Kaepernick. Jerry has been pretty solid and patient in recent years and I fear maybe he's due for an attention seeking relapse.

I think we're xompletely f@cked one way or the other. If my option three options are Mark Sanchez, Geno Smith or an unknown quantity who could, but might not be, worse than eitherI'm still taking option 3.

Sanchez sucks, I would rather give Dak Prescott a chance than have a QB who us laughed at by everyone and is most known for fumbling after running into a lineman's butt. Sanchez is a joke.
Don't know if Kaepernick would fit exactly into the offense but no team will take him. Free speech is dead. In the NFL, you can beat women, beat children and rape people and you are fine, but protest against scum with badges murdering people and getting away with it, and your career is over and you are deemed anti American. It is sickening how right wingers think everyone should love America even when America lets innocent people get killed to promote a military and police agenda -

my feeling is that as long as Prescott stays healthy Sanchez will never see the field. I haven't heard the details but it seems like Sanchez may have taken a pay cut.

He was hired as a back-up, not a starter, so you are right about Prescott having the top job. And yes, I bet he took a pay cut, which is why the Cowboys didn't trade, but waited for him to be out of a job.
