A true Resident evil fan would have rightly assumed the film series would revolve around the game characters like Jill, Barry, Chris, Leon, Claire….but instead those characters were largely pushed aside and reduced to cameos so the director could use the movies to promote Mila ( his wife ) as an action star of the future. She deserved every bit off the hate, nobody aside from the director wanted her there.
