I Need Epsxe To Play Ehrgeiz On Windows

I had it playing great a year ago. I found a site online that walked me through the whole setup, but that old site is down now, and I can't remember how the setup went (lost everything doing a windows-reinstall because of a virus).
I'm getting a black screen each time I attempt to load-up the Ehrgeiz ISO.
I'm working with
Epsxe 1.7.0
.
I need the complete setup all over again.
Any help? -

Get the latest version of ePSXe, as 1.7 is pretty outdated. I have v2.0 on my computer, though there is a newer version available.

Follow the configuration wizard for the BIOS, plugins etc and you should be fine. It's straightforward and the newer versions of the program need less setting up than older ones. So yeah, get the latest version and follow the straight-forward instructions. Hope this helps.

Last month I just tried a version called
ePSXe 2.0.2-1
, but can't get it to work either, so I ditched it.
I'm sure either version would work just fine, but I can't remember all the tweak/settings for the Audio/Visual plug-ins.

try again with a fresh config, I got a black screen after I had it all running nicely, but I tried to swap the graphics later and that ruined everything.
So I started afresh, different directory, set everything beforehand and then ran it no probs. Works great with the ps3 controller btw.
