besides being one big circle jerk and back patting, its a big long piece of ****. but if you dont watch it then they will change and make it more entertaining

I doubt it.
Ratings have been going down and it is still all exclusive back patting bullshit for awards that are given out on bias and favoritism instead of any real and true effort.
The only thing that would make it entertaining and watchable is if they stopped pretending to be all woke, allow Kevin Hart to host, shorten the ****er by cutting out all the ones we don't give a **** at all about, allow a "Best Comedy Movie" award instead of it always being about long and boring serious movies, allow the public to vote after they saw the movie and cut it down to and hour and a half and no more.
And finally let them speak their minds like this.
By doing all the above, then and only then can it finally be watchable.

Couldn't if they wanted to now since they amended the requirements for an Oscar so that a movie is actually required to be 'woke' in some form or another to even qualify for a nomination - they have to have a certain percentage of 'representation' to make the cut, with few exceptions made for documentaries and works of historical significance.
It's beyond pretending at this point, it's mandatory. -

Agreed. People need to start realizing that the world is shaped according to how they interact with it. Stop giving these things your attention. Ignore them and they will be forced to change to win you back.
