The movies are chock full of ditzy bubbleheads, but they are almost always female.
Can you name a movie dum-dum who is a guy?

This character is from a TV show, not a movie, but he's a very, very ditzy knucklehead type guy. He has a hard time spelling the band "devo"…

No, it didn't. At the risk of sounding pretentious, I am going to say that I believe the show was ahead of its time, even though it is very much of its time. It's just that it was on the quirky side and I don't think that there were enough people to appreciate it. The show is definitely not geared towards the lowest common denominator. I don't know if the show was
too good
or not, but every episode gets out loud laughs out of me.

Yes! SJP was such a sweet teenager. At least she played one on tv. Patty Greene. She and her best friend, Lauren, were underdogs, both very easy to root for.

I imagine you haven't even heard of the early 80s sitcom "Square Pegs". I think the show is genius funny.

I always thought Robert Shaw was a man with both hotness and beauty. A real man's man. So nice.
