Quite a bit about the mid to late '90s. One thing that sticks out is the Y2K pandemonium. I remember being determined to stay up and see what happened for myself, only to fall asleep. I was surprised the next morning to see things still carrying on as usual

I'll give you one though: Women were hot. You wouldn't believe how beautiful women in general were back then (not just movie stars and the like).
BTW, the "bad hair" thing is subjective. Big hairdos were in style. They were considered attractive. Twenty years from now, young people will be laughing at what passed for fashionable in 2026. -

dudes fauxpas was the cut off jean shorts and the Tshirt was cut way too high!
i used to rock the half T look but the trick was to have it more like a 3/4 and ya needed them dainty nylon athletic shorts like ya wore in gym class or just straight up faded levi 501s
