Eddie Murphy copied the fcuk outta Richard. I watched Sunset Blvd stand-up. So much of that routine, Eddie strqight copied. He wore the red outfit like Richard did, he made the sex jokes like Richard did, he dis the inpression of Italiams like Richard did..

His jokes about that was the first show of his that I watched. Mind you this was like 20 years after. It felt fresh and it was hilarious. I understood then just why Richard Pryor was given legendal iconic status. Before then, Is only seen Richard do silly comedy in movies like Superman 3, Stir Crazy, See no Evil, and Bustin Loose. Bustin Loose was my fave for many years.
