Now you are making me regret getting rid of my 8 tracks.
Guess I should hang onto my cassettes a bit longer.
Maybe I can make some serious money off of those homemade, "80's Party Hardy Jams," and "Big Hair (Styling)" mix tapes.

I threw away all of my recorded ones (about 100) in 2012 but I kept the manfac'd ones so Im gonna have to dig that box out from under the stairs. I know I had most all of Hitchcock and quite a few double-tape epics.
I got my first VCR in 1980 and by 1982 I bet I didnt have even 15 tapes. They were expensive and I wouldn't dream of spending $50 to $100 on a manfac'd movie. So I actually started my collection of THOSE in the 90's.
I may be twisted, but I'm not miserable. -

My guess is it has to do with some being interested in how the film looked originally before the THX Sound was mixed.
I watched
Grease
yesterday at the cinema. I noticed the sound effects were different and not as enhanced as my blu ray, especially the car audio effects.

Keep your filthy paws off my silky drawers! Would you pull that crap with Annette?
