I was wondering which actress played " Jan Brady " on this episode of
" The Brady Bunch Variety Hour #9 (finale) " ?
That certainly didn't look like the original actress Eve Plumb
.
Surprisingly I never watched this show before until this YouTube clip it looked like a great show too
.

Geri Reischl played Jan on the Brady Bunch Variety Hour because Eve Plumb didn't want to do it. She was trying to distance herself from the show so she wouldn't get typecast. Geri Reishl has since been dubbed "Fake Jan". Eve Plumb did return later for The Brady Brides and The Bradys (1990) as well as the other tv reunion movies.
Years later on one of the reunion movies Susan Olsen couldn't return for the movie because she was on her honeymoon and Jennifer Runyon (Charles in Charge) became "Fake Cindy".
When Maureen McCormick didn't want to do the hour long Bradys drama series in 1990, Leah Ayres became "Fake Marcia".
I don't know what they have to say. It makes no difference anyway. Whatever it is, I'm against it. -

My niece was in a low budget movie with "The New Jan Brady".

I saw that Deep Discount had it on DVD for about $10.50, so I asked my niece how much of that would go to her, and she replied that she would give me $10.50 not to buy it. -
