the only real difference between ophelia and penelope is that the former comes by her identity honestly. She therefore has the edge. Penelope likely has an incredibly slutty side to her shes clearly utilized to jump from one ivy-leaguer to anotherLouis clearly goes for Penelope for that reasonbut he's smart to recognize ophelia's heart of gold.

i would have liked to see penelope end up with Eddie Murphy. It would have been an extra source of annoyance for the wicked brothers.

You know what's interesting, the New York Public Library has an early copy of the script, and Ophelia was original supposed to be African American! And she and Louis didn't end up together at the end, they were just friends. Interesting -

Ophelia is hot, but she is a stuck up snob. Louis changed as a person; she didn't. I don't think even he would consider going back to her after what she did. She and the others turned on Louis when he needed them most. My only disappointment is she never appeared in the film again. I would have loved to see her witness Louis' success. Chances are a lot of his former so called friends were probably laid off when Duke & Duke went under.
