Christopher Street Day in Berlin is, according to the organizers, "bigger than ever".
It's a decidedly political affair. Mayor Kai Wegner embraced the rainbow flag.
Berlin's largest demo: More than 80 wagons, 100 walking groups and hundreds of thousands of participants marched through Berlin on Saturday during Christopher Street Day (CSD) to demonstrate for diversity, human rights and the protection of minorities - and to celebrate together.

Police dissolved pro-Palestinian
"Queer Pride"
Police broke up the
"Internationalist Queer Pride for Liberation"
in Berlin due to repeated attacks on police officers and anti-Semitic slogans. 57 people were arrested, police reported shortly after midnight. Demonstrators attacked officers in Kreuzberg with bottles and flagpoles, threw paint bombs and showed symbols of anti-constitutional and terrorist organizations.
"Internationalist Queer Pride for Liberation" hold Palestinian flags.

We have a gay pride fest every year in my city. It's coming up in September.
September is probably a better month for street festivals.
Fortunately, it was relatively cool for July in Berlin.
Otherwise, many more dancers would have collapsed.

Yeah,here in the south July is hotter than hell. Amazing how many people your festival draws.
The gay and transvestite community here is pretty active, all over Germany.

That's very much, regarding Memphis has around 630,000 and Berlin 3,700,000 inhabitants.
I was often in the USA but never in Memphis and will watch now the
"Memphis Pride"
of last year.
And for this another coffee…it starts with a dog.
Are dogs allowed to go by train and bus at yours?
