I think this is the perfect found footage movie. It's slow, creepy, and has very realistic writing, much more than alot of other similar movies. For people saying how annoying the characters are, guess what, people are pretty annoying in real life. I thought these characters were very realistic.
The one thing that I didn't like was the supernatural aspect added on top of it, since the killer was obviously some frog monster or something. It was better when it was just the van following them and them getting the tape. -

I agree with your post completely! For me, one of the creepiest things about it was the fact that it felt real to me. The writing was very realistic. The acting was pretty good! The whole supernatural thing did sort of take away but I didn't mindit added a little movie aspect to it. I think this film is waaay underrated.

Yes I did think the killer was a normal (well,at least not supernatural) human being.
What makes you think he was supernatural? I'm not perfect and I might have missed something, but I don't see why you would think that. -

On another thread or three, some people seem to think that the van held more than one stalker, perhaps three total.
That would easily explain the stalker seemingly being in more than one place at the same time, among other things.
BTW, agreed the movie was not bad. I thought it was nicely tense at times. And feel free to check my posting history and you will see I have nothing to do with this film.

I didn't hate it, but the ending just fell flat to me. It's a shame because throughout there was a good tension build-up & feeling of dread. The footage of them being filmed while sleeping by this "person" was really creepy.

I liked this one a lot. I especially dug how we never found out the exact identity of the stalker psycho guy in the van. The refreshing lack of any exposition added immensely to the overall tension and creepiness of the piece.
You've seen Guy Standeven in something because the man was in everything.
