My family had the privilege of meeting him in person in October of 1982 when he performed my fathers funeral service at St. Peter's Roman Catholic church in Syracuse, NY while he was stationed there. The church goes by a different name now. He was a pretty cool guy and we joked around a bit while riding in the limousine on the way to the cemetery. Wish we could have taken a picture with him for the family photo album.
