This is similar to how back in the day, I was accused of not supporting the troops or wanting to see terrorists wiped off the face of the earth simply because I didn't support having American troops on the ground in multiple foreign countries. I left the top part of my ballot blank. I haven't voted for a Democrat or a Republican at the presidential level in a general election since my first time voting in 2008. I voted for Obama that year, Ron Paul in the Republican primary in 2012, Gary Johnson in the general election, Bernie Sanders in the Democratic primary in 2016, Johnson again in the general election, Sanders again in the 2020 primary and another blank ballot in the general.
