Nasty!!!
Our cat has brought us gifts of mice and birds… with pride…
Never in our bed, and I am happy to say that we have never encountered a SNAKE!
I'm assuming that after the first time, your niece began inspecting the bed before getting in!?!?!
You asked a pretty question; I've given you the ugly answer.

She lives in Florida and used to have to get her sister come collect the small snakes. After a couple times she closed the cat door until she got home from work. He would sneak in the occasional gift but mostly mice.
Cats can be fun!

They do keep us pest free!
That is true. My good friend had to search her bedroom high and low and she found a dead mouse. Her two cats like to bring them in half alive.

I hate that. I always feel so bad for them when they are injured, but still breathing.

One of my DILs is very country. Her cats do this all the time with birds, snakes, mice etc. She will just snap their necks so they don’t suffer.

You never tried to talk with a tomcat?
It works, you know.
As long as it's not about ancient Greek philosophy.

I told the cat and he did as I said
