Why is my cat overly affectionate on a morning?

And when I say overly affectionate, I mean she's literally jumping on my lap when I'm on the toilet. Licking, kneading, snuggling, purring, following me about, etc.. It's adorable but annoying at the same time especially when I just opened my eyes.

I gave her her breakfast and she only ate half of it so I don't think it's food motivated. Maybe she just misses my company throughout the night
She's the whole night alone?!
It's about time to let her out, meeting her buddies. -

Well if she doesn't come and chill in my bedroom she gets banished to the hallway bc I close my bedroom door on a night lol
She's still a kitten so I don't think letting her out is in her best interest and we are keeping her as an indoor cat anyway as it's safer. My mom's cat got ran over by her neighbour and I don't think I could cope with something like that happening as I would legit kill anyone that ran over and killed her
We got her a harness to take her on walks but she walks sideways like a crab and like a paraplegic trying to walk with it on so we are waiting until she is a bit older lol. -

So she'll become the next cat with behavioural problems living in solitary confinement.
Even a second cat won't help much and could even lead to 'cat-wars' if the two don't like each other.
And again:
Cats usually don't hunt in packs.
But
cats are social creatures that need the company of their own kind.

We aren't getting a second cat atm.
My "niece" was the one with the kittens, but after she wrote a bunch of my daughter's trauma all over the internet after asking her not to put anything until next year, she went ahead and posted from her boyfriend's account to bypass us seeing it so I have officially washed my hands of her. Feels great tbh. I could never stand her. She's always been a backstabber. My mum said it's jealousy and I never believed her until that moment. Wouldn't mind but she flipped out on me bc I asked her to delete it. Fat obese bitch will get knocked the **** out when I see her.
But yeah, we will see how kitty gets along and maybe introduce her to the outside world eventually. -

And when I say daughter's trauma I mean the legit court letter that NOBODY is supposed to see until the trial is over that had all of the details of what happened to her. Fucking rat she is.
