Ahead of ABC pulling “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” indefinitely from the airwaves last week, Carr pushed for the company to take action regarding Kimmel's comments.
"I mean, look, we can do this the easy way or the hard way," Carr said last week. "These companies can find ways to change conduct and take action, frankly, on Kimmel, or you know, there's going to be additional work for the FCC ahead."
You fucking retard.

Not an actual threat. Conspiracy theory from dumb dems confirmed again. -

actually if you read the letter I posted, Nexstar says why they suspended him. they suspended him for his insensitive comments about Charlie Kirk.
you know you're in the wrong when you have to resort to quoting Ted Cruz

No **** Nexstar said that. That's part of being shaken down. You say what you're being forced to say. When you have even Trump bootlicking hacks like Ted Cruz criticizing Trump, then that shows you how far Trump has crossed the line.

They have two groups to worry about. The government and the public. The public has overwhelmingly objected to Nexstar's decision and they rely on this public to watch their programming so they have to keep them happy. That means reversing their decision or lose a lot of money. When it comes to the government, in the days since they removed Jimmy Kimmel, democrats and republicans have united in outrage against the decision, including prominent republicans in Congress like Ted Cruz and Rand Paul, so the strength of the FCC chairman's threats has been significantly diminished.

the FCC chairman's threats never meant anything. Nexstar suspended him for his repulsive comments. Nexstar is a woke ****lib company and they could have kept him on and would not have lost any viewers.

Perry A. Sook, the founder and CEO of Nexstar Media Group, has a history of financial contributions to Republican politicians and causes. His own company has also been described as having a conservative political leaning.

Exactly. They wouldn't have lost any viewers because no one had any issue with what Kimmel said. There was no discussion of it until the FCC chairman issued his public threat. That is what caused Nexstar to remove Kimmel from the air.

it's because leftoids are subhumans and Nexstar wanted to distance themself from that kind of terrorist crowd
so they suspended Kimmel for mocking the dead man of a grieving mother and 2 children

It's a great theory, except of course for the part where he never did any of that.
