80GB IPod classic in black - My first love. R.I.P 2008-2012. I'm getting either the 80GB Zune in black or 160GB classic in silver this weekend.

Sandisk Sansa e200 series (e250) here with 2GB built in memory and then i got a 8GB MicroSDHC card (can use up to 32GB i believe) for it for a total of 10GB of space. i had it since June 2008 and i got it refurbished from Ebay and it's still going strong.
but i am running Rockbox (i.e.
              http://goo.gl/c9Jq
(Rockbox website. which shows what devices are supported to)), which is free, on it which makes it better than stock firmware as i personally would rather avoid any DAP (Digital Audio Player) that does not support Rockbox. i had Rockbox on it from day 1.
so if your just sticking to playing music then this (along with other Rockbox supported devices) is hard to beat as it gives you more audio format support (i.e. .m4a/.mp3/.ogg/.mpc/.flac etc) and more control over your device and are much cheaper vs those IPOD type devices which are nice but definitely overpriced for what you get.
plus i like how a Rockbox enabled device works like it should being that you can just copy and paste music files to and from the device using Windows Explorer instead of being forced to use some extra unneeded software.
