I've noticed this trend lately at stores where they prompt you to round up your purchase amount to the next highest dollar, with the rounded-up amount going to some charity. Anybody else seeing that?

I guess that I just don't pay attention when I'm in the grocery stores.
I pretty much shop on line or put in an order to Walmart and go pick it up without going into the store. It saves me time, I don't have to deal with a bunch of people in the aisles, and no more impulse purchases.
If there was anything positive that came out of the horrible pandemic, it was curbside pickup. The rest is a terrible nightmare!
In any case, I donate directly to my favorite charity… our local animal shelter.
