You make a good point there, but given what was reported, it is far more likely that what they are seeing is just a strange aeriel phenomenon we haven't explained yet rather than any kind of technology–I mean, right now we literally do not have a full understanding of what causes lightning.
I've been following the UFO phenomenon for decades and the evidence is inconsistent with the notion that these are vehicles directed by any kind of intelligent agent.
One of the most commonly reported behaviors, going back hundreds of years, is witnesses to report lights or shapes that float to the ground in a swaying motion similar to that of a gently falling leaf, before they rise again and repeat the behavior. Or the things just alternate between dancing around and hovering.
No one is going to bother building advanced technology vehicles just to do something so completely pointless.

I like your thoughts. It seems rather ludicrous these things can travel light years but crash on earth?! Lol what? Makes no sense and I believe the counterpoint is crashes are a matter of course with any flight related endeavor. But still seeens unlikely
What bothers me a lot is, from what I heard, Grusch himself hasn’t seen any of this. He’s going off what others told him and I think he claims to be privy to certain tangential details corroborating those second hand accounts. I found Grusch to be the least convincing of the three.
Commander Frevor, though, claims to have seen them. I found his presentation to be serious, severe, and believable. The third guy, Graves, a pilot, I believe also said he encountered these crafts.
I think what maybe happening is these guys grew up believing in aliens, became pilots or intel officers as adults, saw stuff they cannot explain and the mind filled in the blanks: aliens.
Another possibility is social engineering. “Non human biologics” is not the same as aliens; you have non human biologics in your car right now in the form of bacteria. Perhaps these guys are trying to present this such that it implies aliens exist but without actually saying it, so as to collect media attention. This could benefit them if they’re concerned about Congress blowing off their case, as they’ve made it a matter of social discourse among the electorate.
      Stop.

Good post. I don't really like this Grusch guy because of the three he's the one making the really bold claims, which require some very compelling evidence for me to get on board with, but the nature of the claims makes them unfalsifiable. He can't be asked to produce anything because he hasn't said he's seen any of it firsthand. So if we're awarding him brownie points simply because he went before congress and that's supposed to mean he'd be crazy to lie, realize they can't exactly demand he bring forward an alien carcass "or else." He can say whatever he wants with impunity just about.
I haven't heard much from the actual hearing but followed the Fravor and Graves stories from before this blew up, and unless they've changed their tune, they've never actually pushed that what they saw were aliens, only that the craft seemed to be capable of incredible maneuvers that defied anything else they've witnessed. People keep mistakenly referring to all three as "whistleblowers," but that's only Grusch. The other two are just ex-military dudes with stories they can't explain.

But think about that for a few seconds.
If they're credible (and I think they are), try to make a list of what other explanations there could be for what they (and their cameras) saw.

That's what makes it fun. Even if those two aren't openly speculating it was aliens, they've practically ruled out quite a lot of what it could be based on their descriptions. No wings, no heat source detected by the FLIR sensors, no visible means of propulsion, the ability to sit completely stationary in equivalent to cat-4 hurricane winds, descending from 50k feet to 50 feet above sea level instantaneously, accelerating at speeds where the g-force would crush a human skeleton if a person was in the cockpit, it was also jamming their radar frequencies which is an act of war. This was in '04, so almost 20 years ago now.
At the least it seems unlikely it's our own military since operating in the same airspace during training drills is an obvious safety concern if you're not telling anyone it's happening. If they wanted to test something out discreetly they can just block out a timeframe where nobody else is allowed to be up there with them.
            tl;dr aliens are real
