You already get way more on disability from the government than I can understand for a single person with no children to support.
If our government defaults, your benefits are going to stop as are all government payouts.
You can both go to work and practice violin. There's no reason you have to choose one over the other.
If you want to take classes just for fun, nothing is stopping you, but getting a degree isn't going to happen and even if it did, it isn't going to help you.
You're dwelling on your school years from twenty years ago. None of that is even relevant now. To anything.
You are not being followed. You are not being monitored.
If you want more money, get a job and work part-time.

Bitch, she can never support herself. It doesn't matter if she has children or not.

They'll probably end her benefits anyway because she has stopped all treatment. I don't think Christina realizes that; otherwise, she'd take her medication as prescribed.

Every time she claims to set up a doctor's appointment, she doesn't go.
Now that she's living on her own and no one is filling out any of the paperwork that indicates her physician has stated she is still disabled, and if she can or cannot work, her benefits will cease.
My only guess is she might do telehealth calls, but there are ropes she legally has to go through to maintain getting disability checks every month. She had her parents and people at the group home handling all of her affairs before.
Let's see what happens. I really hope she finally gets to all of her doctors, and soon, for her own well-being.

It's only a matter of time before she has to recertify for benefits, and if she can't show where she has received consistent treatment for her schizophrenia, they will surely cut her off. It's not a question of if but when.
I hope she will get back on track soon as well because she's really screwing herself over right now, and she doesn't realize it. Once they remove her, it will be hell trying to get benefits again.

Trying to get back on benefits is a much bigger deal and much more difficult process than however she got them initially. I'm gathering her parents advocated for her and brought her to mental healthcare providers to assign her a diagnosis of sufficient severity that would warrant her getting benefits, especially if she tells them she's "all better" and doesn't need her pills, etc.
With proper health care, she can still work part-time. With no healthcare, and no provider validating that she's disabled, you're right, absolutely, it's not a matter of if, but rather when, this happens.
I think she anticipates getting all this "free money" forever, and wants even more, and is putting all her eggs into that Camp Lejeune pipe dream. How she can not have a case worker is beyond me.

She gets Ohio Medicaid, so she should have an automatically assigned case manager who checks up on her periodically. Who knows what's really going on with Christina? There are a lot of things not adding up here.
