Talking about pokemon earlier got me all nostalgic
These are now more expensive then when they first came out, 5 years ago the game was £50, I guess the price goes up the older it gets. The game came out in 2009. Pokemon gold and silver are probably the most loved Pokemon games and I would have to agree, hence the price.
I actually owned a DS and pokemon Gold about 7 years ago back when i was working but ended up selling them for weed, wish I hadnt lol about 4 years ago i borrowed my nieces old DS and got a cartridge only copy of pokemon silver but it was a bootleg and stopped working after an hour damnit, but I only paid £10 for it so no big loss really I guess.
I downloaded a PC emulator today but chances are it is gunna crap out and stop working after investing hours into like it did for me before ( hence why i borrowed my nieces DS and brought a copy, I just got the urge to play it, like i do now )
due to my perma unemployed status and my small debts it will take me months to be able to afford all this and I dont even know if the store will have a copy by then lol is it a massive waste of money simply for member berries? £150 is not not a lot of money to most of you I know but i am on the lowest amount of benefit avaliable in my county so it is like a months " salary " to me…..

IDK what pokemon is, it's before my time!
I'll listen to very old songs (sometimes even 1910s) and watch very old movies (B&W my favorite) but I don't bother with games or any of that. I do like old cartoons, though.

Back when I had a job and was living alone in like 2011 I brought one of these from Ebay for comforting nostalgia as I had it when i was a kid and it brought back happy memories

I cannot recall how much I paid for it back then but it was NOT £81 like it is listed for these days. After having it sit under my bed and collect dust for 2 years I gave it to my sister to give to her friend who was poor and had a toddler
