Democrats are already at 48 confirmed seats. They only need 2 more to retain their majority. They are leading in Arizona, and with the rest of the vote left to count in Nevada being mail in votes which Democrats have been leading in 2 to 1, they are favored to win Nevada as well. That gives them 50 seats and they retain majority control of the Senate. Alaska doesn't matter. If they win the Georgia runoff then it will be the Democrats at 51, not republicans. You are so bad at math.

If the Republicans take the U.S. Senate (and I do think that they will) then they are likely only going to have a 1 vote majority with is most definitely going to be very interesting, especially with how Mitt Romney has been voting against the Republican Party in the Senate in recent years.

Because it shouldn't take this friggin' long to count the votes. In states which have not finished counting, it's due to incompetence, foot dragging and possible shenanigans.
PS In the wake of Hurrican Ian, Florida had their
7.5 million votes counted in five hours!
PPS In Maricopa County, Arizona, only 69,000 votes were counted yesterday! On election day one third of the voting machines malfunctioned.
Gross incompetence
by the Democrat controlled county!

All you're doing is showing your ignorance of how elections work in different states other than your own. It's not incompetence. Every single election, there are some states that take longer than others because different states have different processes. It's always been that way. So yes, 100 percent wrong.
