You’re born and you die alone. You may be surrounded by parents and doctors but ultimately it’s just you on the journey.
This is your natural state: alone. You don’t feel lonely when you’re around others but that’s a temporary state contingent on the presence of other people. Your mind is very much closed off and alone, so even if you come home to a spouse, you’re mentally alone.
