Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
I saw his face on the "trending" and knew it was probably death, but I held hope that it was "Rifleman" related.
For the last year, I have watched "The Rifleman" every single night before going to bed.

Sad to say it's true. I saw it while checking a few things on YouTube.
Every time I see an older actor in trending, I have to check to see if they have passed. It always makes you feel a little sadder each time. It reminds me that I am not getting any younger.
I watch The Rifleman regularly too. Great show. I watched it when I was a little girl. I love the father son relationship between Luke and Mark. There had to be true affection between Chuck Connors and Johnny Crawford. It shows on screen.

Oh that's awesome that you got to meet him!
Having seen a few interviews, he came across as a very nice And gentle man.

I remember Johnny Crawford talking to this gal in a cowboy hat who was a huge Rifleman fan. He was so sweet and kind to this lady. I had him sign my copy of The Great Texas Dynamite Chase, which is a real fun 70's drive-in movie that he's the male lead in.

Oh, that's wonderful.
I had to look up the movie.
Yee Haw! I'm in luck. It's on Tubi!
I will be watching it!

I had him autograph my DVD copy of The Great Texas Dynamite Chase, which is this fun 70's drive-in movie he's the male lead in. He told me some fun stories about female lead Claudia Jennings. He was super kind and pleasant in person.

I made mention of it the day the news broke, over in The Rifleman forum. But I guess aside from Woody and Fernando, no one really saw it. I also posted one of my favorite episodes in that thread.
Here’s another: Young Man’s Fancy. In this episode, Mark reunites with fellow Mouse Alumni, the lovely as can be, Cheryl Holdridge.

I'm sorry, wanton. I'm afraid I didn't see it. I guess I'm a bit late.
Young Man's Fancy… That was such a sweet episode.

She liked that jerk, who I couldn't stand.. I think I'm too old for that episode. It's too saccharine for me, and didn't wanna see Mark get ****ed around by Millie's cousin.

Oh, no problem at all Miss Margo. I probably just posted at an off hour. Yes, one of my favorite episodes. Most people don’t seem to remember that for a short period of time, Johnny was a Mouseketeer. Same as Paul Peterson of The Donna Reed show fame. Oh, and Robby Douglas of My 3 Sons.

I remember that Johnny and Robby from My Three Sons were Mouseketeers.
I read a book about the Mickey Mouse Club a while back, and Paul Petersen wrote his short "memoir" of his time with the club. He said he was such a hyper kid, he didn't last long. Apparently, he did better with Donna.
