I can't remember which commentary it was but I remember JMS mentioning that he wanted Duchovny and Anderson to appear as Psi Cops for a season 5 episode but it never happened for whatever reason.
Then in the spinoff show "Crusade" there's the episode titled "Visitors From Down the Street" where the two main alien investigators are very obviously supposed to be alien versions of Mulder and Scully.

Actually Sculder and Mully were the Temporal Investigations agents on DS9, investigating the events surrounding Sisco and Company visiting the Old Star Trek episode "The Trouble with Tribbles"
Chris Carter and JMS were friends, so there were off hand references to each show. One was that poor teddy bear that Sheridan "Spaced" at the end of one episode.

I guess you could say that, except the connections between "Visitors.." to X-Files was a lot more clear. And both of the DS9 temporal investigation agents were men.

I can't remember any B-5 references in X-files, but I'd love to be wrong.

Yeah I've seen the X-Files in its entirety at least 4 times and I don't remember any B5 references.

I definitely felt like the show became very X-Files esque especially when exploring some of the different mysteries, but apparently X-Files itself never referenced any of it. The closest you got is one of the writers Vince Gilligan referencing it on his show Breaking Bad.

Crusade should’ve definitely made it to five different seasons, but it was had too much creative tension between JMS amd TNT. Sadly, I did find that that X-Files parody episode was the only sore spot as it just didn’t work, and the humor was two on the nose.
