Who else thinks she's a good actress? I mean she didn't have a lot to do in this movie but i still enjoyed watching her.
I also think she's aged really well i mean she's 43 and looks half that. -

I don't think she's a good actress at all. I was surprised when I saw she won an Oscar. She acted so artificial that even her anger and tears seemed unnatural. I haven't felt any tension during the film at all and I wanted to see it because I thought it's a "quiet", but intense horror. Maybe with another actress

Mira Sorvinos career seems to have gone downhill. WHile I (relatively) enjoyed this film, her performance wasn't good at all. Well, it wasn't just here, everyone gives a wooden performance.
The film tries to do things different to the usual ghost stories and almost pulls it off.
But Mira, despite the big name, was part of the problem. -

- She's not Italian, she's American 2) Only her father is of Italian descent, 3)I've known plenty of women of Italian descent who have not aged quite as gracefully as Mira Sorvino and look like old hags in their 40s.

Yeah, same thing got me tuned indisappointing to see her so bundled up. Fortunately, I actually found the film oddly enjoyable. I think my expectations were set low enough by the 4/10 star rating here.
