They confessed to beating all holy hell out of ………..

What about the fact that there was absolutely no evidence connecting them to the crime? That their confessions were inconsistent both with each other and with the facts of the crime? Or that the crime scene suggested one person committed the crime rather than the half dozen or more the cops suggested? Or that the established timeline these kids had with the mob harrassing parkgoers was inconsistent with them being the jogger's attacker(s)?
We know who did it. He confessed and gave an account which fit perfectly with the details. He was also a serial rapist (as opposed to the other kids who had no trouble with the law IIRC). And he insisted that he acted alone.
Unless Alpert's covered in bacon grease, I don't think Hugo can track anything. -

Exactly
The cops just grabbed any of the kids there because they were going to pin it on someone and you were guilty just by being there
The 5 weren't even in that area of the park. Korey didn't stay, he left early on
The cops coerced them because they decided they were guilty just by being in the park
Matias Reyes was a serial rapist and killer. He stalked the jogger, hit her over the head with a heavy tree branch and dragged her into the woods, raped her and left her for dead
The interrogations of the boys weren't recorded until they had been coerced into saying what they were told
Those cops were dirty and drunks

They were guilty and it was only through the confession of someone years later who just so happened to be in the same prison and had absolutely nothing to lose that they were somehow exonerated.
So they beat and raped this woman and left her to die. She miraculously survived though she was never the same and those five men were then given millions.
Disgusting. -

What's the evidence against them?
You would believe these kids, who weren't criminals, all of a sudden decide to rape and kill a woman? Instead of someone who was actually convicted of being a rapist and murderer
Matias knew all the details of the crime without be coached. His DNA was at the scene. The boys didn't know what her injuries were and got the details wrong and the cops corrected them
Matias didn't know that Korey was still locked up until they crossed paths and Matias decided to do the right thing
Those cops were dirty. One of them would clock in and go sit on his ass in a bar and drink. Another got busted for DUIs.
They also didn't let their parents in the room when they were being interrogated. Could it be they didn't want them to see what they were doing?

He knew all the details because he was in the same prison.
They concocted this confession and the DA was only too happy to oblige.
The cops weren't dirty. It's just that woke hit America using Ken Burns as a conduit.
This is liberal justice. They let a woman beat nearly to death, raped, left to die and then screwed her over the rest of her life and those guilty are rewarded millions.
Only in a liberal world is something that sick considered justice. -

How did his DNA get at the crime scene?
Yes, those cops were dirty. They hit Korey when they were interrogating him
Only a racist bootlicker would believe those cops

You are relying on this sudden appearance of DNA decades later that just so happened to match the man who just so happened to confess to a crime that just so happened to be from the same prison as those who were found guilty in an era when liberals just so happened to have DAs who were willing to do anything to help the woke culture?

No, his DNA was on a sock but it was years before DNA testing
When it was tested years later it belonged to Reyes
Pretty crafty of those boys to rape and almost kill someone and not leave any DNA

Let's see … Boys who had never been in trouble, weren't killers or rapists, or a serial rapist and killer?
Gee, that's a tough one. You're pretty gullible to believe lies the cops made
These aren't the only ones who got paid after being locked up after a coerced confession
Look up Johnny Hincapie and Christopher Tapp

By their own words they were violent towards other people, even just before this horrible rape and attempted murder. There were multiple witnesses that night.
One person did not do all that to the victim. It was multiple people.
Could the guy who confessed have been there, too? Sure. He was a serial rapist. It would not be surprising if he were in on the rape. Most importantly, he had absolutely nothing to lose.
But those others were in on it, too.
You can choose to believe they were peace loving innocent teens who were simply on their way to the library to study Socrates. Isn't that how every single tv show, movie and commercial portrays black people in general?
Remember Trayvon Martin? We were constantly shown photos of him. He looked angelic. Of course those were from when he was much younger. They didn't bring up how often he was in trouble in school and the fact he was much larger than Zimmerman.
How about George Floyd? We were told a cop murdered him. We were told the tactic employed by the cop was not part of their training. Both lies. Floyd's own drugs he took killed him and that tactic is absolutely part of police training.
You notice a pattern?
How about Michael Brown? We were told he was a gentle giant! He would never hurt anyone. And the cop literally put his gun to the back of Brown's head and executed him. The truth is almost completely the opposite. He was a thug and literally tried to get the cop's gun so he could likely shoot him.
You noticing a pattern?
This idea that black people are not ever anything but victims. They can stab someone to death and then after not only proclaim being the victim but the family actually using it to profit.
Those Central Park Five got away with it. Because liberals wanted them to get away with it. It fits their narrative that black people are always innocent. Why? Because liberals want their votes. Everything with liberals comes down to political power.
The truth is black people commit more than half the violent crimes in America. That would make sense if they were half the population. Right? But they are about 15%.
And you cannot blame poverty. There are more white people living in poverty.
You can choose to believe they are innocent. I absolutely do not believe they were innocent at all. -

That's true about the others but not the teens
Reyes said he thought he left her for dead because he bludgeoned her head and she bled out. It was a miracle she survived
If the boys had been there then there would have been evidence, but the evidence points to one person. One set of footprints, one person's DNA
You can think they're guilty all you want but there's no evidence at the crime scene. They had to be coached to say what happened because they weren't there
It's evident you want to think the worst of them because you think that blacks are thugs
I hate criminals as much as anyone, but in this case, it's the cops who are the criminals

Apparently so are you
Without the coerced confessions, what's the evidence against them?

So once you dismiss the confessions they don't have much? LOL
And their confessions are pretty detailed. How they attacked her, what they did to her, horrific stuff. Kinda hard to just overlook that based on one confession long after it happened. -
Cheeky — 4 months ago(November 16, 2025 12:40 AM)
Those confessions were fed to them and they were told they could go home if they told them what they wanted to hear
They taped their coerced confessions after they had been coached
We don't get to see the actual interrogations
