Despite all the witch hunts, all the slander, all the lies what have you actually accomplished? Ok fine, he has a small scar on his ear. Some trumped up charges that are likely to be expunged before he leaves office or shortly after Vance takes over. But aside from that? History will remember him like Lincoln. I hope you realize that. History doesn't remember the small folk who hated Lincoln or even the congressmen. Lincoln won the civil war. He kept the nation together. Those are the big details the ones taught on grade school. The smaller details get buried. And things like how some stupid **** vegan asshole like warren had an issue? Not even recorded. No one will care.
None of your obstruction will work. Best you can hope for now is a new spirit of comeraderie with some goals you can agree on with the right and try to steer things left from there. I think that might actually be good for the nation because right now both sides are just taking turns swinging the pendulum further and further from one side to another. That just raises the temperature. If you stop pushing radicalism so hard and work with us you can softly temper our fervor and then perhaps the pendulum won't swing so far right as you fear it would.
But I suspect this olive branch will be spat on. I suspect you lefties are far too… gone. Mentally, emotionally, logically. But hey. Prove me wrong.

No. You are not. Because youre not going to get the reaction you were hoping for. As I stated, the pendulum swings. You didn't learn from 2024 so instead of slowing the pendulum you swung it harder. The recent SOTU proves to me that even if dems take the midterms they won't do the smart thing. They will triple down on the radical thing. Then guess what happens when the pendulum swings back in 2028?

The only way that Republicans are winning in 2028 is if they run an anti-MIGA, anti-Israel candidate like Thomas Massie - and, even then, their chances of winning are extremely slim.
Conservatives always lose in the end because conservatism, at its core, is about stopping society from changing, and societal change is inevitable and unstoppable. -

Actually I think a stronger case could be made that you lost in 2020. Sure you won the actual election but what did you do with it? Did you put a strong competent candidate in who made a good showing of running things?
No. Not even close. You installed a senile incompetent old man and an asleep-on-the-job word salad woman of a VP who together could barely manage to maintain the status quo. You helped swing the pendulum beyond radical and toward the ridiculous. Towards a worldview of open borders & men can be women & terror states like iran are somehow more moral that free nations like the United States.
That is not winning.
That is just plain crazy.

Trump is having his way with their psyches with everything he does.
Secretary Rubio gave a flawless defense of why it was imperative that we act now to attack and prevent Iran from becoming nuclear capable.
Also, it bothers the Dems greatly that there will be three more years of this winning.
All this is why they're all so "gwumpy" these days.
