Tucker Carlson skewered him when talking about Israel and Iran.
Cruz couldn't answer a single question about the country he wants to bomb? Wouldn't you think this is the kind of homework you'd do ahead of time before coming to that conclusion? Even his falling back on the Bible floundered because it doesn't really say that.
That was such a cockup.

I'm not going to go into all of that trying to make comments or insinuate that Ted Cruz sucks dicks. What's the point of sinking that low. I'm not going to be a part of that type of commentary.
Back to the topic at hand, I don't follow Ted Cruz, and I have no vested interest in trying to make up baseless rumours to try and take digs at him. Simply looking at the exchange unfold and with Cruz's own words and his reactions to Carlson is sufficient to make my point as it pertains to this interview. I was gobsmacked to see his behaviour on display in this subject matter.
This was embarrassing to watch.

Easy, and yet relentlessly funny, jokes aside.
I think this interview is the epitome of exactly where the 'younger' generation have to note that they have no power in how any of it plays out. Both of them are puppets to appease the masses and always have been.
Now the actual younger generations, all 3 of them below these two, have to look at how the strongest and wildest of the Left of centre into the Right are powerless. That's what they could aspire to be with the current framework.
Bernie is bought and paid for, both the Dems and the Reps are in it to keep themselves in jobs. Nobody is representing the people and the shadows on the wall meant to distract have suddenly noticed that they're old and on their way out.
Sure we can all admit that Tucker got his ass kicked by Jon Stewart of Crossfire and then got his act together to some degree but he's been tangled in it all to where he's got about as much creditability as John Oliver.
As for Ted Cruz, he's always been the laughing stock and he's far too in now for that to change. Vance is 40 years old, more appealing to both ends of the generational gap and likely to make a go for the top job next time around. He's only got one voting generation beneath him and a bunch of kids who didn't go to school or eat eggs coming up.
Trump might settle things globally on the war front, but jobs and war go hand-in-hand.
Cruz, and the idiots who support him, is what is bringing more coffins back to the soil of the US from battles overseas that don't threaten US interests.
But hey, I'm going back to my jokes. They're less controversial than reality right now

I think that Tucker Carlson has a lot more credibility than Jon Stewart. I have at least seen Carlson attempt to converse with people with a variety of positions, and to do so in good faith. Jon Stewart is an embarrassment.
If I'm looking for a good news source, James O'Keefe is pretty far up the list.
As I've said, I really don't know much about Ted Cruz, and I've seen very few interactions with him other than hearings. I'm not familiar enough with him as a person or politician, but I certainly was able to determine that Carlson absolutely roasted Cruz in that interview. And justly so! Cruz was so out of his element in trying to justify wanting to bomb Iran and back Israel while simultaneously knowing nothing about either country. He simply came off as pompous and deeply uncomfortable.

The fact that James O'Keefe's own board try to oust him surreptitiously and OMG was born goes to show that he's on the right path when it comes to proper investigative reporting and he's got plenty of people prepared to volunteer their time and do on-the-record undercover stings with key players in all sorts of political scams
Certainly the best reporting with the least amount of flash associated with it (Not completely bare though)
Jon Stewart is certainly leaning against Republicans but, to his credit, he tells everyone that up front and so you know there's bias in what he's saying (And he'll remind you if you forget).
Tucker has gotten much better over the years. He's managing to piss off people on both sides but still reigns it in when things get too hot. He publicised that he had all of the footage from Washington DC on J6 and Hunter Biden's laptop contents and then they all vanished, and he didn't bring it up again. So still something there which removes credibility and raises questions.
But Cruz, Cruz can do the soundbytes at hearings and make it seem like he's passionate but his career is simply chasing attention and that's what he's hoping can get him into the Oval Office eventually. He's being played the whole time, and rightly so, as he's a follower and not a leader (In any shape).
That's my two cents from outside. Media on both sides has gotten to the comical end and trying to find proper information for young, concerned citizens isn't easy

There is no bigger Tucker Fanboy on the planet than me.
But that's not what happened. Tucker came off Manic. And really sophomoric. No one gives a Fuck about what the actual population of Iran is.
Amd everyone including people in a coma know that its majority Shia. Whether its 87% Shia or 92% Shia or 96% Shia is again inconsequential.
Tucker has been on a bender. A year ago he tried to skewer Winston Churchill by interviewing a Nazi apologist. And never ever challenged not one single assertion the Nazi apologist made about Churchill.
Tucker needs a Very very long Vacation
By the way the media has created yet again a false narrative for what is it, the Billionth Time????
They are presenting two sides in the Iran Conflict and asking people what side are you on.
That of course is Foolish.
Because both sides are wrong.
And because stupid people post here I have to explain I'm not talking about the two sides being Israel or Iran
I am referring to the two trains of thought.
On one Side There is the

Then there is the
Tucker Carlson

Who is he again Smith

I completely agree with you.
Both sides are wrong, and the ones gunning for one movement over the other are the extremists. We have isolationists on one side and warhawks wanting perpetual wars on the other.
